CP1, 67 Miles Grande Tours | 3/7/2004 3:41:00 PM | No comment - yet |
CP2, 174 Miles Chokoloskee | 3/10/2004 2:40:00 AM | Full moon sailing! It reminded me of my sailing on the Baltic Sea. Different waters, different boats, but the stars look similar. Next step to CP3: Inside Everglades, arrival to Flamingo: late Thursday night. |
CP3, 273 Miles Flamingo | 3/12/2004 6:35:00 AM | Arrived to Everglades one-half day later than planned, so not much video shooting, just paddling. Love to paddle there at night, enjoyed some more tight places cabbage creek, Broad Creek (missed The Nightmare due to low tide), "labyrinth" night. |
Finish, 303 Miles Key Largo | 3/13/2004 6:21:00 AM | A lot headwind in Florida Bay as expected, paddling with dolphins along narrow channels, getting tired. Dropping out at Key Largo. |
