CP1, 67 Miles Grande Tours | 3/7/2004 8:55:00 PM | GPS shows nice zig stitch down west coast. 36 hours taking to windward and rowing in fog. Boat worked great and having lots of fun doing CP1 leg. |
CP2, 174 Miles Chokoloskee | 3/9/2004 12:20:00 AM | Float some and bail alot. Wet and tired, winds 20 knots with many "exciting" moments. |
CP3, 273 Miles Flamingo | 3/9/2004 8:20:00 PM | Great sailing, great surfing, great day! |
Finish, 303 Miles Key Largo | 3/10/2004 5:03:00 AM | The sail from Flamingo was an inspiring night with a solid reach under stars, and over flat, skinny water. Enjoyed it all and look forward to the next challenge. |
