Boat Name: Pelican Sea Wind
Boat Description: Kruger Sea Wind with Balogh sail and Boss plus Hobie Mirage pedal drive.
Fort Desoto3/5/2005Very much looking forward to roomier and more comfortable Sea Wind. Pedals don't add much speed over paddle, but option of using leg muscles will be a huge benefit on the long stretches. Making no plans except to follow the path of least resistance, although I do intend to take the wilderness waterway to Flamingo.

3/7/2005 9:35:00 PMAwesome day, Kruger is too comfortable. I slept in it on a beach last night. I didn't awaken til 6:30. Feeling great. Took it easy and stopped to take pictures along the way. Plus ate lunch at a WaterTribe restaurant on Marco River. Strong head winds for last two hours.
CP3, 273 Miles
Flamingo
3/10/2005 10:25:00 PMLeft cp2 at 12:03 AM. I had a devil of a time getting out in the dark and rain. Came outside and slept 2 hours on Pavilion Key after crashing into the sand bar.
