Class 1 - Expedition Kayaks and Canoes
Class 2 - Racing Kayaks and Canoes
Class 3 - Sailing Kayaks and Canoes
Class 4 - Small Sailboats - (2001-2008) monohulls, cats, tris
Class 4 - Monohull Sailboats - (As of 2009) monohulls
Class 5 - Multihull Sailboats - (As of 2009) cats, tris
Size Filter - All boats must launch from above the
high water mark without outside assistance.
This Challenge is an expediton style adventure race for kayaks, canoes, and small sailboats. The time limit is 8 days but the winners will do it in 3 to 4 days. The distance is 260 to 300 miles depending on your course.

3/8/2005 1:50:00 PMThe waves were great. I a little tired, sore and hungry but I am in good spirits. Plan is to eat at JT's and camp here on Chokoloskee. Head out before sunrise tomorrow. I want to thank the family in Estero vacationing from Michigan for the hot shower and meal.

3/10/2005 3:40:00 PMSlept through all three alarms on my watch. Did not get on water until 8:30 AM. Paddled against tide most of way. I am good spirits, I am ready for shower, dry clothes, a beer and food. See you in Key Largo tomorrow.
