Class 3 - Sailing Kayaks and Canoes
Class 4 - Small Sailboats - (2001-2008) monohulls, cats, tris
Class 4 - Monohull Sailboats - (As of 2009) monohulls
Class 5 - Multihull Sailboats - (As of 2009) cats, tris
Size Filter - All boats must launch from above the
high water mark without outside assistance.
This Challenge is an expediton style adventure race for kayaks, canoes, and small sailboats. The time limit is 8 days but the winners will do it in 3 to 4 days. The distance is 260 to 300 miles depending on your course.

Fort Desoto3/5/2005Everglades Challenge 2004 was completed in hull #1. 2005 will be entered with which ever boat is available out of production at that time. Stock boat, no enhancements.

3/8/2005 10:09:00 AMEnjoyed 05 even better than 04! Had everything down wind, upwind, rowing lots. View of other participants throughout trip. Lots of work but better provisions, equipment and more functional boat.
