But.... sailing, expedition adventure racing, work and saying hello to my lovely wife got in the way. So have been trying to find a Tandem Island. Still looking. Blofish found a Hobie Cat just down the road…..and he can fix anything Exmilitary, engineer, ultra runner, sailor, and paddler, and he found a boat for us in 22 minutes. Lucky we are friends. With some sanding, polish, new strings, jib, kite, fiberglass work on the centerboards and rudder, those first test sails and paddles convinced us she's a delight for the adventure. |

Drama Queen got a bit more powerful rig and she got a bit streamlined - longer thinner outrigger, more comfortable deck. I hope I fixed some undesirable behavior problems going downwind. We will see.
I am still contemplating bringing Nacra f17 and go for a speed run, but I guess it will wait until next year. |
