Good Point. Any boat that has previously launched off the beach is Grand Fathered in. This applies to any captain and crew using any of these boats.
However, the 600 pound rule does apply to all boats for using the beach cart for transport to the launch beach.

I had a Dreamcatcher that has the same hull as a Sea Wind. My single blade paddle was 50 inches long and worked well. I also used a double blade paddle sometimes, but I don't have the length for that.

I was just informed by Fort DeSoto Park that we cannot have our event on 3/6/2027. We have to shift it out one week. Registration will be on 3/12/2027 and launch will be on 3/13/2027.
