When leaving CP#1 last year, I went back out Stump Pass. This year I plan on heading south in the intercoastal, going west of Bird Key and exiting out Gasparilla Pass. Any class 4 folks want to chime in on the suitability of this plan? I assume the wind would NOT be out of the south (otherwise it would again be going back out Stump to the Gulf.) I am sailing a 49er with a 22 foot mast height (and centerboard and kick up rudder, vs the stock daggerboard and dagger rudder.)
Thanks in advance,

Re: EC navigation question out from Haze Marina
Do it if wind and tide are favorable.. It can be a mess if they are against you and you have Saturday boat traffic.
