Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be hit/run into a dolphin in a kayak?!?!? Nope…me neither!! Honestly, I didn’t even know that could happen 😂 Apparently teenage dolphins swim like teenage kids drive! Pelican and Sandpiper (Dad and Jack) were cruising along at 3-4 knots with a dolphin hanging by the boat and playing. Next thing the know/hear was a HUGE BANG/THUD and a curious dolphin tried to become one with the boat! Of course MY first question was, “Is the dolphin OK?!?!” The answer is yes, dolphin and humans are all good. Boat needed some repairs, said dolphin busted one of the amas. Thankfully it didn’t slow them down too much and they were able to continue taking advantage of the wind while they had it! I can’t wait to hear the full story on this when they are finished!!

Bustedrudder in at 8:50pm. Had some harsh words for conditions on Joe River and weather in general.😂

DreamOn made it into CP3 at 8:50PM. Interesting day, he says. His outrigger detached off of Middle Cape but he was able to beach and make repairs. Enjoying cold water and hot ramen now, planning his day tomorrow.
