Sleepy arrived about 15 minutes ago. He said he had a much better time in Stump pass than last year. Sadly his inreach has become unreachable. I’ve loaned him a spot and we’ll get him back on the tracker eventually.

Yarddog arrived just before 900 pm, the second TI to arrive. The first four hours were “a lot of pedaling”. It was worth it, because he’s current among an elite group of tribers.

Kayak Vagabond was paddling near Busted Rudder on Sarasota Bay when Greg’s new rudder cable broke. He lost a lot of time paddling without it and stopped to make an emergency fix but it will need a full repair. Back on the water on his way to CP1.

Andyman and Natedog were the first tribers to tackle Milton Pass *in the dark* 😎. Soup by the warm fire and then they were off.

BoatDoc and Dawnzi: 1st UM finishers at 11:52pm in their Wayfarer Mk 1. They made it through “Stump Pass by Braille, otherwise very pleasant.”

Crazy Russian missed the marina but got to see the ferry before heading back in our direction. He wasn’t a big fan of the shunting back and forth in the narrow channel to retrace his steps. "Remind me why do we do it?"
