Many sailboats need to use beach rollers to launch. There are some specific rules for using rollers.
- First, position your boat above the high water mark. Usually the bow faces the water, but that is up to you.
- Next, slide the deflated rollers under your boat
- Leave them deflated overnight. This is critical. They cannot be inflated overnight.
- Assuming decent weather, you can inflate them AFTER ROLL CALL.
- After inflation, make sure your boat does not slip forward until the launch is signaled.
- Make sure you retrieve your rollers.
