Retracing the OkoumeFest Challenge (OFC)

Hi all, I'm late to the game and the OkoumeFest Challenge (OFC) is no more. I live 12 miles from the Eastern Neck Island bridge. I've got a class one Clipper Sea-1 with a Falcon Sail and think that retracing the shorter course is a reasonable short term goal. I'd be attempting to do this unsupported, so I'm looking for any "historical documentation" or sage advise on how to approach this. Thanks, Woody (Mistukendingier)
