When and how can you setup rollers for your boat?

Many sailboats need to use beach rollers to launch. There are some specific rules for using rollers.

• First, position your boat above the high water mark. Usually the bow faces the water, but that is up to you.

• Next, slide the deflated rollers under your boat

• Leave them deflated overnight. This is critical. They cannot be inflated overnight.

• Assuming decent weather, you can inflate them AFTER ROLL CALL.

• After inflation, make sure your boat does not slip forward until the launch is signaled.

• Make sure you retrieve your rollers.
